Vanuatu Revival Fellowship Beliefs

The Revival Fellowship beliefs are based on the Word of God (the Bible). We have outlined some of our core beliefs below with scriptures and articles for you to check out for yourself.

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is the son of the Living God; the Bible is the true and inspired Word of God.

  • Isaiah 9:6-7
  • Matthew 3:16-17
  • Mark 1:1
  • John 12:48-50
  • 2 Timothy 3:16
AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE

That we need to obey the Bible directive to become a member of the Body of Christ, the Church.

  • Acts 2:37-38
  • Acts 17:30
  • Romans 6:4-5
  • John 7:38-39
LOVE

Our love for one another is what Jesus said would be how people know we are truly his disciples – this also includes the love of God’s Word in life application.

  • Galatians 5:6
  • Romans 5:5
  • John 13:34-35
SALVATION

a) Repentance.

Is to have a complete change of mind, or to repair a wrong. The Bible tells us that we have all sinned, and gone about doing things our own way. When we admit that, he is ready to forgive us.

  • Rom 3:23
  • Acts 2:38 and 3:19
  • Luke 15:11-24

b) Baptism.

Baptism is by full immersion and is an act of obedience. The Bible calls it the answer of a good conscience towards God.

  • 1 Pet 3:21
  • Acts 8:35-38
  • Acts 10:44-48

c) The Holy Spirit.

The Bible evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues, a direct language to speak to God.

  • John 4:23,24
  • 1 Cor 14:2
  • Acts 2:1-4
  • Acts 10:44-46
  • Acts 19:1-7
